This place is situated 1000 meters above sea level and can be easily accessed from Pokhara. From this place, you can also catch a glimpse of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Macchapuchchre mountains.

Getting To Manungkot:

Manungkot is a popular viewpoint in the Tanahun District. From Kathmandu, you can take a bus or a microbus to Damauli. The drive takes about 5-6 hours and is 165 km from Kathmandu. From Pokhara, you can take a bus or microbus to Damauli, which is a 1.5-hour drive. Along the way, you can enjoy scenic countryside roads and the fast-flowing rivers flowing across this region of Gandaki Province.

From Damauli, you can hire a local vehicle or a jeep to go to Manungkot. This place can also be easily ridden from Kathmandu or Pokhara. If you choose to hike to Manungkot, it will take 2-3 hours of walking.

Best Time To Visit Manungkot:

The best time to visit this place is from September to November. By then, the monsoon will have ended, and the views will be even more stunning. Be sure to get here early in the morning to witness amazing sunrise views. If you are traveling to Manungkot, be sure to be here before 6 am.
