Badimalika Trek:

Meanwhile, the Api and Saipal mountain ranges add extra beauty to this trek. Badimalika Trek can also be done by combining with Khaptad National Park Trek. Around the temple, there are very few settlements, which means this is one of the most remote treks in Nepal. This trek offers a rugged, off-the-beaten-path experience and stunning views of the far-western mountains like the Api and Saipal.

This trek is particularly popular during the annual Badimalika festival in August. Muktinath Trek:

Muktinath temple is one of the holiest sites for both Hindus and Buddhists. It is also one of the most visited places in Nepal. At an altitude of 3800 meters, thousands visit it every year. There are fancy hotels and lodges throughout the way to Muktinath temple, so accommodation is not difficult. Trekking starts from Jomsom. Trekkers walk along the banks of the Kaligandaki River towards the village of Kagbeni. Tibetan-orientin Nepalese people, mainly Thakalis, inhabit the village. The landscape of the Mustang district is one of the most unique, with dry, barren hills and terrains. This journey poses a decent level of physical challenge.

This trek is one of the most visited destinations, so you don’t have to carry tents, extra clothes, and medicines as they are easily available there. If you’d like to visit this place by road, you can also do that.

On the occasion of Janai Purnima, thousands of devotees from all parts of Nepal visit this holy lake. Not only religiously significant, this lake is one of the most picturesque in Nepal.
