2. Travel Insurance

  • Mandatory Insurance: All participants must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, personal injury, accidents, evacuation, and trip cancellations. It is your responsibility to ensure that your insurance covers activities like trekking or adventure sports if included in your tour.

3. Health and Fitness

  • Physical Requirements: Certain tours, particularly trekking and adventure activities, require a specific level of fitness. It is your responsibility to assess your physical capabilities before booking. We may request a fitness declaration or medical clearance for high-altitude treks or physically demanding tours.
  • Medical Conditions: If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, you must inform us at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse participation if we feel the tour may pose a risk to your health and safety.

4. Safety and Risk

  • Safety Guidelines: We prioritize safety on all our tours, but you acknowledge that travel in remote areas, trekking, and adventure sports may involve inherent risks. By booking with NLRF Nepal, you agree to adhere to the safety guidelines provided by our guides and staff.
  • Emergency Situations: In case of an emergency, we will make every effort to provide medical assistance and evacuation services. However, any additional costs for medical treatment, evacuation, or return flights will be the responsibility of the traveler.

5. Changes to Itinerary

  • Flexibility: Due to the unpredictable nature of travel in Nepal (e.g., weather conditions, road closures, etc.), itineraries are subject to change. We will make every effort to provide a similar alternative if necessary.
  • Voluntary Changes: If you request any changes to the itinerary after booking (such as extending your stay or adding activities), any additional costs will be your responsibility.

6. Liability

  • Tour Company Responsibility: NLRF Nepal will take reasonable care in organizing tours and services. However, we are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property during the tour.
  • Third-Party Suppliers: We may use third-party suppliers for transportation, accommodation, and activities. While we work with reputable partners, we are not responsible for their actions or failures, including delays or cancellations.

7. Passport and Visas

  • Responsibility: It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that they have a valid passport and any necessary visas for entry into Nepal or any other country included in the tour itinerary. We can provide guidance but are not liable for any issues related to passport or visa requirements.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Respect Local Customs: All travelers are expected to show respect for local customs, traditions, and laws. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or unsafe may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.
  • Environmental Responsibility: We encourage all travelers to practice responsible tourism. Please follow our guidelines for minimizing waste, protecting wildlife, and supporting local communities.

9. Complaints and Disputes

  • On-Tour Complaints: If you have a complaint during the tour, please inform your guide or tour leader immediately so we can address the issue. If the issue is not resolved, you may submit a formal complaint within 30 days after the tour ends.
  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Nepal, and both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Nepali courts.

10. Photography and Media

  • Use of Images: By participating in our tours, you consent to NLRF Nepal using any photographs or videos taken during the tour for promotional purposes, unless you expressly request otherwise in writing.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • Modifications: NLRF Nepal reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them before booking.
