Itinerary

Meet at Baneshwor and head towards Gokarna, a scenic and accessible drive.

We start our hike toward Sundarijal, which takes us through the forested area with glimpses of the local flora and fauna.

We continue walking the trail, surrounded by rhododendron trees, pine forests, and small streams. We also get occasional views of the Kathmandu Valley below.

The final ascent up to Dhaap Dam is more challenging and strenuous.

We will reach the beautiful Dhaap Dam, a peaceful reservoir located near Sundarijal, and spend time admiring its tranquility. We will also enjoy a packed lunch and a small picnic around the Dam.

After spending some time at the dam, we begin our return hike along the same route. The trail is mostly downhill, which makes the return much easier.

Reach the start of our Trailhead: After two hours, we reach the start point of our hike. The return trip allows us to descend more leisurely, enjoying the serenity around this place.

It should take us around an hour to reach our meeting point.
